Description

Ecamsule (Mexoryl SX) is a photostable organic UVA absorber of the benzylidene camphor derivative class. It effectively absorbs ultraviolet A radiation primarily in the 290–400 nm range, with a peak absorption around 345 nm, making it particularly suitable for UVA protection. Ecamsule is used in sunscreen formulations, often in combination with other UV filters to achieve broad-spectrum UV protection.
